it is hilly with a good percentage of deep lands suitable for the cultivation of cereals and legumes at 150 meters above sea level.
The Rio Mannu crosses the lower part of this territory, making it fertile and irrigable, in its neighboring areas we also find numerous olive groves and vineyards.
The cultivation of durum wheat is the most sought after given the excellent quality of the wheat that has been found in the countryside of Simala since Roman times. Everything is facilitated by a climate that has always been mild, in fact winter snowfalls and periods of great drought during the summer seasons are rare.
